Just Home from LA!

Hey there Everyone,

Jeremiah here writing my first Blog entry on the our website........

First of I wanted to thank each and everyone one of you who have taken the time, and become a member of Teatromusic.com. Your support means a great deal to each and everyone of us. We are all very excited about this album and to have such a great show of support is truly inspiring.

So here is a little bit of an update. We have literally just arrived home a few hours ago from a trip to Hollywood CA. So needless we are all a bit jet lagged.......

But as for the trip it was great success. First off for me it was a great homecoming. As you may have read I grew up in LA from the time I was 12 till I moved to NYC in 2003. It was great fun being the tour guide while we were there. We got ourselves a 1969 Caddy (Classic cars are a passion of mine) and we were off.

Though I will say it was distracting at times trying to drive with Andrews camera in my face. (Its a new camera so he never goes anywhere without it.) tongue wink we packed in as much as we could in those 2 days. We saw everything from the Venice beach to the Hollywood sign and everything in between.

The highlights were the Pantages, Chines, and Kodak theaters. Being guys who love theater as you all well know cheese it was great to show the guys these iconic theaters up close. It was also good fun having the folks from GMTV with us at different points of the trip. Oh and I did get the boys there first IN and OUT Burger witch is a LA most if you ever travel there yourselves.
(I think they are all now addicted) tongue laugh

Then it was off to Ross Kings house which was amazing....(I wanted his TV which was 3 times the size of mine) wink To film a spot for GMTV. While we were there we also asked Ross if he wouldn’t mind us as a group moving in........LOL. If you could have seen this house you would have understood why we tried. But alas we have a lot of work still to do. Oooh well. grin

Then it was off to our meeting with an agency that would possibly help us on our future quest to try to come to the United States. It was amazing to have the chance just to sit and chat with these folks. But that is all in the far future. We are of course at present putting all our energy in to the NOV the 26th launch here in the UK. So keep you eyes and ears open for more updates.

Thank you all so much for checking.

Wishing all the best,

Jeremiah

On the Road!

Hello all!

Thank you so much for the continued support of Teatro in the run-up to our first album release, we really appreciate it. We hope to meet some of you when we perform on the 15th November at Marylebone high St!

We are currently doing some radio promotion around the country; so far we have visited many BBC radio centres including Shropshire, Carlisle, Devon, Bristol, Northampton, WM and Leicester. Its actually great fun this interview lark, because us Teatrons get on so well we just have a good time and probably laugh far too much on air.

We heard in the car today that we will be performing at this year’s Royal Variety Performance which we are all over the moon about. It has been a boyhood dream of mine to perform at this event (as I’m it sure it was the others’) and I am especially excited about performing in front of HM Queen Elizabeth (I have invited her on two occasions to see me perform at Windsor Theatre Royal in the past: both times I received a letter from a lady-in-waiting stressing she was flattered but was otherwise busy, I will bring this up with HM when I meet her. She will not get off lightly).

More radio tomorrow but we are all going for dinner tonight and will discover what Nottingham has to offer…

Hope to hear from you!

Andrew x

Hi all,

Wow, what a week! We got back from New York (Broadway) where we did a segment for the Paul O’Grady show with Tracey Chappell, a Welsh lady who owns a sweet shop! Since I was born in Wales we had lots to chat about. It was so funny… every time she spoke Jeremiah just had a blank look on his face - he couldn’t get to grips with her accent at all! (Homer Simpson ‘Doh’). We also met with the Naked Cowboy and sang some songs in a music store.  They had a Karaoke section which was great fun. I sang a rendition of ‘On Broadway’ by George Benson and spent almost $200 on backing tracks: stuff like Mowtown hits; Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael McDonald… gonna put them on in my car so I can sing my heart out!

So back to Blitey and seriously jet lagged.

Yesterday we did BBC News 24 where we met James Dagwell and did a short acappella version of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and this morning was GMTV. Both were a lot of fun. We had to sing ‘Music of the Night’ at 8am this morning…not fair making us sing so early. It went really well though so we’re all very happy and they’re a fantastic gang at GMTV.  We were all taking photos with Penny Smith - she’s a very cool woman! You can watch the performance in the Video section of this website.

Well… onwards with rehearsals… towards the album launch on the 26th Nov. Everything is happening so fast, there’s no time to catch our breaths.

Thanks for all your support, keep watching and please keep sending us your messages.

Take care and hope to see you all soon,

Stephen x
