From Broadway to the West End
Hi all,
Wow, what a week! We got back from New York (Broadway) where we did a segment for the Paul O’Grady show with Tracey Chappell, a Welsh lady who owns a sweet shop! Since I was born in Wales we had lots to chat about. It was so funny… every time she spoke Jeremiah just had a blank look on his face - he couldn’t get to grips with her accent at all! (Homer Simpson ‘Doh’). We also met with the Naked Cowboy and sang some songs in a music store. They had a Karaoke section which was great fun. I sang a rendition of ‘On Broadway’ by George Benson and spent almost $200 on backing tracks: stuff like Mowtown hits; Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Michael McDonald… gonna put them on in my car so I can sing my heart out!
So back to Blitey and seriously jet lagged.
Yesterday we did BBC News 24 where we met James Dagwell and did a short acappella version of ‘Somewhere Over the Rainbow’ and this morning was GMTV. Both were a lot of fun. We had to sing ‘Music of the Night’ at 8am this morning…not fair making us sing so early. It went really well though so we’re all very happy and they’re a fantastic gang at GMTV. We were all taking photos with Penny Smith - she’s a very cool woman! You can watch the performance in the Video section of this website.
Well… onwards with rehearsals… towards the album launch on the 26th Nov. Everything is happening so fast, there’s no time to catch our breaths.

gosh, this is an amazing project! didn’t thought it’d be this!! bravo! i can’t wait for the album (gonna get my friend get it for me from London! before he fly back to KL!)and hope that you guys will be here in KL for a promo tour!!

Well done all of you - you look and sound brilliant and I can’t wait to buy the CD. Andrew - I’m so proud of you and was thrilled to see that you’ll be at the Royal Variety Show. I’m sure you will go from strength to strength and have great fun along the way! Hope to see you soon x
