On the Road!
Hello all!
Thank you so much for the continued support of Teatro in the run-up to our first album release, we really appreciate it. We hope to meet some of you when we perform on the 15th November at Marylebone high St!
We are currently doing some radio promotion around the country; so far we have visited many BBC radio centres including Shropshire, Carlisle, Devon, Bristol, Northampton, WM and Leicester. Its actually great fun this interview lark, because us Teatrons get on so well we just have a good time and probably laugh far too much on air.
We heard in the car today that we will be performing at this year’s Royal Variety Performance which we are all over the moon about. It has been a boyhood dream of mine to perform at this event (as I’m it sure it was the others’) and I am especially excited about performing in front of HM Queen Elizabeth (I have invited her on two occasions to see me perform at Windsor Theatre Royal in the past: both times I received a letter from a lady-in-waiting stressing she was flattered but was otherwise busy, I will bring this up with HM when I meet her. She will not get off lightly).
More radio tomorrow but we are all going for dinner tonight and will discover what Nottingham has to offer…
Hope to hear from you!
Andrew x

Hi. I’m new here and am from Malaysia. Caught Stephen in action here months back and let me tell you, Malaysians are swooning over your voice, Stephen. I can tell you that I was mesmerized. Anyway, back to reality - it feels good to ‘meet’ Teatro - am sure you will be a success. Let me entice you to venture into Malaysia at the same time, using Stephen as a launching pad (sorry for ‘pimping’ you but its showbiz, dahling!) - Stephen has ties here already and am POSITIVE whatever hall you perform in will be full, and sponsors will not be a problem. If you like, you could also have a local opening act that would generate the balance of the audience. please think about this - we need some class and GOOD music to listen to. Am sick of the poppy music we tune in to everyday. Lets introduce class back to the Malaysian society. My grandparents lived during the British era and their whole lifestyle is very classy. Tea is a must in the afternoons, we are all English-speaking, and we value the family. Teatro’s music is music for the family. See, we could write a whole ad campaign based on just these few words! hahahaha. Stephen, comments?
