I think its the most intence musical ever. I saw the show on west end last june and I fell in love with it. The music is so powerfull and its got this amazing story line. The cast was amasing and I think its the best cast I have seen jet (haha also became fan of Simon )
miss saigon
This was my very first musical I saw...sssoooo it hase a speacial place in my heart.
but i do love to hear and watch west side story, les miserables and the phantom of the opera… very stunning and i also like aspects of love (from 90’s, i guess)
and wish Teatro will bring great influence in musical
Seen it 13 times. I’m rather a musical geek. I see everything all the time. I know Les Mis inside out. But then its ok since I’m trying to get into drama school!!!! It is stunning, amazing, something for everyone and a beautiful, BEAUTIFUL story.
Also...Wicked, Avenue Q, Phantom, Jekyll and Hyde, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Blood Brothers, Aspects of Love, etc etc etc. The list is endless!!!! But mainly Les Mis and Wicked.
The Secret Garden stunned me to tears. Unexpectedly, but it was an amazing show.
I adore any and all dancing so Crazy For You, My One and Only, Will Rogers Follies, Grand Hotel…
I could go on forever. Anything Sondheim. Now there’s brilliance.
Rent can reduce me to an emotional, quivering mess. Into The Woods, Joseph, Evita…
Really, I can go on and on. Also Les Miz, Phantom. My 6 year old daughter adores Cats and
sings and dances along (the most adorable sight ever).
My favorite musical is “We Will Rock You” - I always come out of there very happy. I love the music and the casts over the years have been amazing.
That is where I first saw/heard/met Simon and was very happy to see him perform in the ensemble and he was fantastic as Britney and Galileo (understudy).
I do enjoy seeing “Spamalot” and I don’t know if you would call this a “musical” exactly, but I really enjoy going to see “Lord of the Rings”. It is an amazing experience!
Les Miserables will always be my favorite musical. I’ve seen it live two times and a million times on television. “West Side Story” is another favorite of mine even though I’ve never seen it live. Wicked is also amazing. I had the honor of seeing it with Kristen Chenoweth and Idina Menzel. One word: AMAZING
Saw “Lion King” in London just after it opened....the costumes are amazing; so much detail in each one. Loved the songs & the way some of the characters come onto the stage via the audience in the stalls - brilliant. It’s totally a family show & I really lost track of time watching this - brilliant show.
Last Monday went to see “Joseph & his amazing technicolour dreamcoat” - again in London. This was an early birthday present for my daughter (also a treat for me as my birthday was the day after!!). Have to be totally honest the initial reason for going to see this show was because of LEE MEAD - my daughter & I voted for him on Any Dream Will Do. That guy has got the most amazing voice & presence. Both Lee & the whole cast deserved the standing ovation they got at the end. Now saving up to hopefully see it again!
Phantom of the Opera - every time. I’ve seen ti 20 times and I’m going again this Ney year. I’ve seen it in both New York and London. I even loved the movie although I know nobody else did!
It introduced me to Sarah Brightman who is my all time favourite singer of all time. I think the music is so beautiful, it’s operatic without being screechy and the different harmonies are just incredible.

Ok...I don’t think I can actually call any specific show my favourite as I have so many that I love…
So far I’ve seen Cats x 2, Little Shop Of Horrors, Bombay Dreams, Starlight Express x 2, Footloose, Avenue Q x 5, Chicago x 2, Lion King, Stomp, Joseph x 2, Les Miserables, We Will Rock You x 20, Phantom of the Opera, Blood Brothers, Oh What A Lovely War, Wicked x4 and am going to see Billy Elliot next month as well as Wicked for the 5th time.
I just love each and every show I see...I think it’s got to be something to do with the enormous amount of dedication, energy and effort that everyone puts in to make every show unique.
There are too many great musicals out there so I really can’t pick just one.
The French musical Le Roi Soleil is at the very top of my musical list, but two of the first musicals that I fell in love with were Les Miserables (I’m a Michael Ball fan) and Phantom of the opera. A new musical that I like a lot is Wicked.
