In London its def ‘Wicked’

Closely followed by LOTR and Chicago

Paris - ‘Cabaret’ at Folies Bergere

Just wish they would stage ‘Romeo et Juliette’ in Paris again.

And so looking forward to ‘Dracula entre l’amour et la mort’ in Lyon in January.

Hi

For me there are far too many to have favourites. Les Miserable, Miss Saigon, Blood Brothers, and Phantom Of The Opera probably just edge the top slots but so many to choose from and for different reasons.

Jekyll and Hyde :D!
I haven’t actually had the chance to see it yet (although I will see it in Feb!) but there is a DVD version of the show with David Hasselhoff as Jekyll and Hyde which is alright!

I also love Phantom (Obviously) but at the moment it’s Jekyll and Hyde!

The best ‘live’ version of J&H;is the one with Rob Evan in!

Always thought it a shame that the best song from the concept cd (Bring on the men) never made it into the final show!!

Yeah, it was kinda unfortunate however, in future performances the song will be added. Wildhorn saw a German production (in all other productions, bring on the men remained in the musicals) and he the director of he version he seen put the song towards the end of the musical and not were it was originally meant to be, after the musical Wildhorn stated that all future performances of Jekyll and Hyde would happen like this.

My 2 favourite musicals are Into The Woods & Sweeney Todd (though not the Johnny Depp version!)
I would love to hear the boys do a version of ‘Johanna’ - an absolutely wonderful song.

Beauty and the Beast, Grease, Les Mis, Mary Poppins…

I love Mary Poppins cuz of the saying “anything can happen if you let it” and this year it has on many occasions

I’m off to watch to “We will Rock You” in Jan..

So excited!!

Kisses

hello, im new here! *waves*

my fave musical is phantom of the opera!
and the reason is......it’s in my blood! my mum loves the show and used to have the cassette tape (how olde does that make me sound????) and i used to listen to it all the time dreaming that i was Christine daae!
and then a few years back she surprised me with a trip to go see it in london and i loved it even more.
in total i have been to see it three times (saw the movie 6 times at the cinema) and still get goose bumps from it!

also coming in a close second is the new musical ‘never forget’ i saw it in cardiff and it tickled me! lol tis a very funny show based on the songs of take that. it’s classic.

xx

my favorite musicals are phatom of the oprea because of the songs that they sing and tell the story of two people share a love of oprea music.

my second is chicargo because of the costums that they were and the songs that are sung to tell a story of women getting there revenge on there husbands or boyfriends that have cheated on them.

my 3rd is hairspray because of a young girl who wants to dance on the corny colins show but because of her wieght she gets turned down to be on the show.
