Back from Hollywood

Teatro have returned from Hollywood.  See Jeremiah’s blog to read about their trip and see the photos.

Teatro have been flown to Hollywood, the land of the legends, to meet a high profile agent who is keen to sign them up and make them superstars in US.  The agent saw their dazzling performance on GMTV earlier this month and immediately got in contact to fly them to LA.

In true Hollywood style the guys are driving a classic 1970’s drop-top Cadillac and taking in some of the sites before their big meeting today.

They have walked the Walk of Fame on Hollywood Boulevard and seen the famous Chinese Theatre where all the legends have their stars imprinted on the pavement.

They visited the historical Pantages Theatre, where Jeremiah starred in Oklahoma last year.  It which was acquired by Howard Hughes in 1949 and hosted the Academy Awards for the next 10 years, including the first televised Oscars.

The guys drove past the infamous Capitol Towers, down Rodeo Drive and down to the ocean to see Venice beach and Santa Monica pier.  They sipped cocktails at the Chateaux Marmont where Robert De Niro sat at a nearby table.

GMTV have been filming their every move and will be doing an interview at Ross King’s house today in the Hollywood Hills overlooking the infamous Hollywood sign, before they head down to the agency meeting.  The agency headquarters reside in the old MCA building where Frank Sinatra recorded many of his albums.

A whirlwind 2 day tour of LA before they head back to London tonight.

Teatro will be performing at the switching on of the Marylebone High Street Christmas lights on Thursday 15th November.  It is a free event and the first opportunity to see Teatro perform live.

Every year, in preparation for Christmas, Marylebone Village hosts a moment of Christmas magic in Marylebone.  Music, Father Christmas and special seasonal shopping opportunities surround the moment when the Christmas Illuminations light up Marylebone High Street for the first time each winter.

The evening features live performances from local schools and their choirs leading on to more established musicians and singers, creating an choral and musical extravaganza for one and all - a serenade to the switch on of the Christmas Illuminations. The event starts from 4pm through to 6.30pm.
